Do you provide overnight pet care? We do not provide overnight pet care at this time. We do, however, provide day visits as needed for your pet!
Do you provide overnight dog boarding in your home? We do not provide dog boarding at this time.
What is the fee for mileage? Mileage charges are 65 cents per mile, after 10 miles from your pet sitter’s location. We will try our best to schedule you with a pet sitter within 10 miles.
Do you charge extra for holidays? We charge a holiday service fee of $25 for any services scheduled to occur on the following holidays or holiday weekends: Easter, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year’s Day.
Do you offer discounts? Discounts are given as part of our referral program, which all of our clients are eligible for! We also give discounts for any clients who previously used “Ashley’s Pet-Sitting Services” in the past, if you were a past client please let us know.
Do I need to make a deposit when booking your services? A deposit of 25% of the total cost of services is required to secure your requested dates/times for our pet sitting services. Unless you’re booking for a holiday or holiday weekend, then the deposit is $100 or 25% of the total cost of services, whichever is higher. A $200 deposit is required for our wedding services. No deposits are required for recurring services at this time (dog walks, puppy care…etc)
What is your cancellation policy? We charge 100% of the total cost of services if the scheduled visits for services are canceled with less than 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled service. We charge 25% of the total cost of services if the scheduled visits for services are canceled with less than 1 week’s notice prior to the scheduled service. We will waive any fees for scheduled visits or provide a refund and/or credit of the deposit in the event that services are canceled prior to one week out of the scheduled service. Except for holidays or holiday weekends, those deposits are non-refundable.
Do you charge for meet and greets? Yes, we charge $20 for our meet & greets. We try to assign the same pet sitter every time you hire us. However, if your pet sitter isn’t available, there will be a new meet & greet charge.
How far in advance should I book my services with you? We typically ask that you request service 2-3 weeks in advance. For summer & holidays, we recommend you book as soon as possible, as those dates tend to fill much quicker than others.
