Mr. & Mrs. Taylor

Mr. & Mrs. Taylor waited until they were 100% sure that they would get married before they started adopting dogs together. Their whole relationship and life now revolves around dogs. They are certified dog trainers, and have a full house- 7 dogs total! They felt it was important to include their dogs at the wedding (they had five dogs at this time) because “without our dogs there, it would have felt like something was missing.”

Mr & Mrs. Taylor said “I do” at Van Hoosen Farm, a gorgeous, pet-friendly wedding venue located in Rochester Hills, Michigan. As part of the ceremony, their five dogs, Lana, Winston, Arya, Stanley, and Mila were all paired with a bridal party member to walk down the aisle with.

The wedding guests were delighted to see all the dogs be included in their wedding. Mila, the borzoi, did have some stage fright and didn’t make it down the aisle, but we were there to make sure all the dogs were comfortable and taken care of, so we let Mila stay back with us and watch from afar! During the reception, all guests had a chance to greet the dogs and give him plenty of love and attention. “All of our guests meeting the dogs during the reception was the best part!”

When asked how it felt to include their dogs in their big day, Mr. Taylor stated, “Our wedding felt whole with our dogs there!” Hiring a wedding pet attendant helped the happy couple relax and focus on their big day!

“Jackie & Joe’s Pet Care wedding pet attendants, Ashley & Joseph, did an amazing job keeping our dogs content and cooperative throughout the ceremony and reception, even when Mila got stage fright. Our five dogs at our wedding were a lot to deal with, and I can’t imagine anyone else doing as flawless of a job handling them. It definitely helped that our dogs all knew and loved Ashley before the event!” (We are the dogs regular pet sitter as well!)
